The Secret Is Out: Secret Deodorant Review

You have a problem. You sweat profusely. You even sweat in winter or while in bed, and what's worse, you smell so bad whenever you sweat horribly that on most days, you can knock out anyone within 20 yards. Could it be time to try Secret deodorant?

I've used Secret Clinical Strength for two weeks and I must say, I feel it has not made a difference. I didn't feel anything different until the second week and this, I suspect, is why Secret deodorant has been receiving some grumbling. Its effectiveness is not miraculous and definitely does not happen overnight. It's true my underarms became maybe 10% drier but I am looking for something better.

Secret deodorant is soft and solid, and and is pushed up and out of its tube by pressing on a clicking wheel found on the bottom. It has the same ingredient found in most anti-perspirants - aluminum zirconium tricholorhydrex gly. Note, however, that while these anti-perspirants only have 12% to 18% aluminum zirconium trichlorohydrex gly, Secret Clinical Strength contains 20% of it. Could this variation in ingredient have any difference on the way the product works?

Other users of the product say no.

I'd say Secret deodorant is a good anti-perspirant but if you are looking for a product for some one who sweats excessively you need something else. The marketing pitch behind Secret deodorant makes it sound like a mysterious, one-of-a-kind product when in fact, it's just like your run-of-the-mill anti-perspirant. It keeps you just as dry as other anti perspirants. But there's nothing secretly wonderful about the Secret deodorant. Nor is there anything remarkable about its application technique.

Another drawback to the Secret deodorant is that it's more expensive than most. I will use up my present Secret deodorant tube i bought for this review, but i wont be buying another.
